New BASIXTM Addon: Screen-Pop
January 16, 2009 - Jason Neumann and Ryan Walker, the computer programmers of Acredo Technologies Inc, have been hard at work on a new feature for BASIXTM, called screen-pop. The screen-pop function reacts to an incoming call by searching an online database. The feature will sift through the contacts, accounts, and leads within a CRM database based on the phone number of the caller. An automated window appears on the screen containing the most recent and detailed information associated with the customer.
Customer service will be the primary application for this. When a customer calls in the representative taking the call will have their name, call back number, and account information and history right in front of them. This will save the time of acquiring and confirming this information with each call. More importantly it will make the caller feel that the company knows them, strengthening customer relationships.
This tool will soon be made available as an addon to BASIXTM subscribers, and will be integrated into Acredo's customer relationship management software to assist the team in providing unparalleled customer service.
