February 26, 2009 - Last week the Acredo team attended the 2009 Internet Telephony Conference and Expo in Miami Florida. At the event Mike Ross had the opportunity to speak with Rich Tehrani, editor of Internet Telephony Magazine. They discussed the hosted telecommunications providers in attendance and all of the new features available. From video capabilities to fixed and mobile convergence the IP telephony industry is continuously rolling out better products.
Ross & Tehrani also noted the current opportunities for hosted VoIP platforms. These services, in combination with all the recent advances, have the ability to increase productivity and save on call cost. "So you really have this one, two, three punch in a product thats perfect for this economic environment" Tehrani noted. Ross agreed by explaining there was a feeling in the air that this was the right time, economically, to start looking at a VoIP based product for business.
