Newpoint School Expands Service

October 31, 2008 - Newpoint Schools is a growing system of public charter schools. Currently based out of Panama City Florida, they are looking to open several new facilities in the near future. New Point offers a unique project-based approach to college prepetory education. Their emphasis is on high academic achievement through the use of state-of-the-art technology. It is this affinity for new technology that lead them to Acredo.

Several months ago New Point Highschool switched their office phones over to an Acredo hosted VoIP system. Pleased with the call quality and customer service they have received thus far, they recently expanded their service plan. Brian Ross visited the campus earlier this month to the addition of an IVR feature. This automated attendant will connect callers to the desired party's BASIX extension. They also adopted a toll free number. “Someday they plan to switch to a national 800 number” Ross explained “This will allow them use one phone number to direct incoming calls to schools across the country as they expand.”
