Acredo Submits Newpoint Schools Case Study
December 15, 2008 - Newpoint is a system of public charter schools that provide college preparatory education by employing state-of-the-art technologies. This affinity for new technology brought them to BASIX in their search for office phones. Since the start of the school year the Panama City campus has been using Acredo's broadband telephonic systems in the classroom, as well as for administration.
A few months into the semester Newpoint contacted Business Development Manager, Brian Ross, about expanding their service. Ross oversaw the installation of Acredo's IVR feature, providing the schools with an auto attendant to direct incoming calls. When the Tampa location opens, Newpoint intends to expand their subscription further to include this new campus.
Late last month Marcus May, President and CEO of Newpoint Education Partners, agreed to an interview with Acredo's branding consultant, Hal Thayer. The interview revealed the value May found in the BASIX system and how pleased the school was with the caliber of product and the level of service.
The highly praising feedback received throughout the interview and Newpoint's continued expansion of their service illustrates the quality of both the product and the support the Acredo team offers with it. They intend to continually watch Newpoint's growth and experience to ensure customer satisfaction. Furthermore they compiled this information into a case study. This study was submitted to TMC for consideration in their product of the year award, and will be used in the future to provide evidence of the advantages BASIX can offer to potential customers.
