Technology
The backbone of BASIX™ is the soft switch developed by Brastel. The switch provides all of the functions of the phone system in software using a Linux software platform for reliability. The proprietary software was developed using C++ and Java applications with an Oracle database using SIP/VoIP standards. The system has redundant servers and is scalable to handle a large user base.
